Workshop on Project Evaluation

A two day workshop on Project Evaluation was conducted at KROSS Resource Centre on 15th & 16th December, 2014.

Project Monitoring & Evaluation is the need of the hour as we can learn about our work through this exercise as it helps us to know where we were and where we have reached. Though there are three types of evaluation, i.e., self, internal and external evaluation the best is midterm which is also participatory (formative) as it will give us a clear idea as to where we are heading and it allows us to make the needed changes midway to achieve our goals and objectives as end term (summative) will only enable us to reflect on future projects to be implemented. Evaluation is the best tool to carry forward the programme and we should take the findings positively as it helps us to help the people whom we serve said Fr. Peter Brank in his keynote address.

Mr. Ambrose Christy who was the resource person for the two days made the sessions very lively with interactions, power point presentation and real life experience and case studies.

Sr. Nancy Lobo & Sr. Lucia Sebastian, Program Officers, KROSS moderated the two days session, Mr. Jagdeesh, SMSSS, Shimoga welcomed the gathering and Mr. Harishchandra, KDDC, Karwar proposed the vote of thanks.
