Workshop on Enterpreneurial Development & Business Planning

What is the relevance of NGOs to the poor and marginalized women in the society? Are we focussed on the poorest of the poor and concentrate on reaching out to people who are below poverty line and support & facilitate to earn to meet their day to day needs, how to sustain the poverty alleviation programmes and what are the gaps identified needs to be reflected upon said Fr. Peter Brank while addressing the Workshop on Entrepreneurial Development & Business Planning at KROSS Resource Centre arranged for the programme Staff of Women in Micro Enterprises for alleviation of poverty by SAMRUDI Rural Upliftment Foundation which reaches out to 100% BPL and 100% Women to enable them to uplift them from the clutches of poverty through small business enterprises.

He also introduced to the participants Fr. Sebastian Fernandes the newly appointed Assistant Director, KROSS.

The two days’ Workshop conducted on 23rd & 24th February, 2015 was facilitated by Mrs. Connie Alva.

Mr. Ivan Sequeira welcomed the dignitaries and the participants. Mrs. Jacintha Martis proposed the vote of thanks and Mr. Clement Fernandes moderated the workshop.
