Women Empowerment Programme In Karnataka.

A four days meet to review the progress of the programme, debriefing on the internal evaluation conducted and consultation on the next phase of the project 2016 was organized at KROSS Resource Centre, Bangalore from 8th to 11th April, 2015 in which 45 participants from 14 partner organizations from all over Karnataka participated.

A retreat can be different for different communities but let these four days exercise be a retreat for us to reflect on the past and the internal evaluation carried out over the past one and a half month be a learning for us to objectively grab the best practices, address the gaps and plan for the future phase beyond 2016 in the best interest of the communities which are less privileged and marginalized women in Karnataka said Rev. Fr. Peter Brank, Director, KROSS in his inaugural keynote address.

Rev. Fr. Sebastian Fernandes, Asst. Director, KROSS interacted with the participants eliciting from them their views on how best the programme could be carried forward so that the we can achieve zero tolerance towards violence against women.

Mr. Ambrose Christy facilitated the debriefing session of the internal evaluation done and Ms Juliana Lazarus explained on how to prepare good life stories of achievements.

Sr. Nancy Lobo & Sr. Lucia moderated the sessions. Ms Bhagyamary, CMSSS welcomed the dignitaries and participants and Ms Pusphalatha, BMSSS proposed the vote of thanks.
